How to install an eSIM on the Xiaomi 12T Pro
You receive the QR code by email and on your order page right after payment. Install it at home on Wi-Fi: the plan only starts when the device first connects to a network at your destination.
- 1Open Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks (Mobile networks on HyperOS).
- 2Tap Manage eSIM (or eSIM), then Add eSIM.
- 3Scan the QR code from your email and confirm.
- 4Under Data, choose the new eSIM for mobile data and keep your usual SIM for calls.
When you land, turn on Data Roaming for the travel eSIM only and check that mobile data uses it. Leave roaming off on your home line so your operator does not charge you.
