Help & frequently asked questions

What is an eSIM?

A digital SIM built into your phone. You install it by scanning a QR code or tapping a link, no plastic card needed. Your regular SIM stays in place for calls and SMS.

Is my phone compatible?

Most phones since 2019 are: iPhone XR/XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and many others. The phone must be carrier-unlocked. Quick test: dial *#06#; if an EID appears, it supports eSIM.

When does my plan start?

When your phone first connects to a supported network at your destination, not when you buy or install it. Install before you leave while you have Wi-Fi.

Can I add more data?

Yes. Top up the same eSIM from your order page anytime, nothing new to install.

Do I get a phone number?

No, plans are data-only. Use WhatsApp, FaceTime or any calling app over data.

Does the eSIM replace my physical SIM?

No. Both work side by side on phones with eSIM: keep your usual SIM for calls and SMS, and use the travel eSIM for data.

What happens when I run out of data?

Your connection pauses. Top up the same eSIM from your order page in a few taps, with nothing to reinstall.

Can I use one eSIM in several countries?

Yes, with a regional plan (Europe, Middle East and more). One eSIM covers every country in the region.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, if we could not deliver your eSIM or if it was never installed: contact us within 30 days for a full refund. See the refund policy for details.

How do I pay?

By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, in your own currency. Prices are final, with no hidden fees.
